About the Chefs
Chefs Jiyeon Lee and Cody Taylor
Jiyeon’s culinary career began shortly after her success as a teen K-Pop sensation in her home country of South Korea. She moved to Atlanta to study French Cuisine at Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and has been devoted to expressing her artistic spirit with food ever since. Cody’s love for BBQ and experience in the kitchen began at the early age of 15, when he started working in restaurants. Born in Texas, raised in Tennessee, and eventually attending high school and college in Georgia brought Cody to the city of Atlanta where eventually the two met. The couple have continuously been recognized by local and national media for their culinary success, both individually and as partners.
In 2002 a friendship between Cody and Chef Christophe blossomed while working together at The Ritz Carlton in Atlanta, eventually working together again at Field Good in Alpharetta until 2009. Cody introduced Christophe to Jiyeon during their professional relationship and the three have shared their passion for food and travel ever since.
